Selenite Skull

Description

This selenite skull is about 2″ at its base and weighs 3.2 oz. or 92g. The details in this carved skull are fabulous. The Record keeper gemstones nose have raised or intended “trigons” on their surface. This means that perfectly formed triangles are visible as subtle imprints on the side of the crystal, giving it the added magic of sacred geometry. The hexagon represents the Hermetic Principle “As above, so below.”  This stone has a wonderful, shimmery glow!  This carving would be a powerful addition to your personal altar or skull family! The selenite is said to be from Morocco.

To connect with your skull, take the time to sit quietly with the skull sitting in the palm of your energy receptive hand (mine is my left hand). You can go into a meditative state or, if preferred, just sit quietly, allowing the mind to slow down and receive any insights. Initial connection usually reveals the skull’s name to you, along with any purpose or key attributes that the skull wishes to work with you on.

You may receive visions, words, feelings, memories, or insights. If you are already awakened to your psychic ability, you may receive messages or channel the skull directly, receiving its words of wisdom.

Selenite is considered a high vibration stone that is associated with the third eye chakra, the crown chakra, and the soul star chakra. Named after the Greek moon goddess, Selene, selenite has a pearl-like glow and is excellent for meditation and scrying.

Selenite can be used to cleanse and recharge other stones, such as your crystal and gemstone jewelry! Just lay your crystals on or next to selenite about once a week for frequent use. I like to place selenite around my house and workspace.

Selenite will dissolve when exposed to water, so be sure to keep it dry! You might want to consider picking up several pieces to keep around your home – I know I have it in several areas at both home and work!
